About Us

Karen is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), holds a Master of Social Work (MSW) degree, and is a member of the National Association of Social Workers. She is a Florida Qualified Supervisor for therapists seeking clinical supervision on their pathway to licensure in social work. She has more than 15 years of experience working with individuals, families, and groups on life’s journey.

I use an integrative and collaborative treatment approach, including cognitive-behavioral (CBT), client-centered, acceptance and commitment (ACT), mindfulness, narrative, and solution focused therapy. Many of us, at times, find ourselves on a path we didn’t expect or want to be on. It can be difficult to navigate challenges/stressors alone. I provide a safe space in counseling sessions to explore thoughts and emotions, clarify wishes and goals, identify strengths, and collaborate with you on charting a course toward a better you.
